(Photo by Tawatchai Kemgumnerd)Rights activist Veera Somkhwamkid on Wednesday surrendered to Technology Crime Suppression Division police, responding to a court warrant issued for his arrest for allegedly spreading false information online. It came after Mr Veera posted questionaire about the government on a Facebook page using a Thai account named Veera Somkhwamkid, and a few of his Facebook supporters responded to it. The unofficial "survey" results were later posted on a Facebook page using an English-language account, also named Veera Somkhwamkid. Mr Veera told reporters there were no conditions attached to his bail.
